Main terms and principles

Your rights as a data subject
As a data subject, you basically have the following rights regarding your (personal) data:
- Request for information about the data stored about you,
- request to correct or complete inaccurate data
- request for deletion of the data if, for example, the data is no longer necessary for the intended use or if there is (no longer) a legal basis for processing,
- request for (time-limited) restriction of data processing, e. g. if the accuracy of the data is disputed or if the processing is presumed to be unlawful,
- opposition to further processing of your data by us,

Processing of your personal data
- How we collect your data and what data we process
We process the personal data that you make available to us when you contact us in writing or directly by e-mail. In addition, we process your personal data when you provide optional information. We may also process the personal data you provide to us, for example to verify your identity. - Purpose

How long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data until we have responded to your request. Thereafter, your personal data is blocked until the end of the respective limitation period for the maintenance of legal claims (i. e. we block your data for all further uses). After the expiry of this limitation period (3 years), your data will be completely deleted.

Contact form
When using the contact form, we only collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) to the extent that you have provided it to us. The processing of the data allows us to contact you. By sending your message, you consent to the processing of the transmitted data. The processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6 (1) letter a GDPR with your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time by notifying us, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent prior to the revocation. We only use your email address to process your request. Your data will then be deleted if you have not consented to further processing and use.
The storage period is one year.
Secure transmission
Your personal data is transmitted to us securely by means of encryption. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system. We use technical and organisational measures to protect our websites and systems against the loss, destruction, access, modification, or dissemination of your data by unauthorised persons.
SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from

Ordering goods via the Feuerhand online shop
The data you enter to create a customer account with us is saved. The data you enter when ordering goods via the online store is also saved.
As a rule, the following data is required to create a customer account or to process an order of goods: name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number as well as a password for the customer account.
All data you enter is transmitted in encrypted form. Your customer account password is stored immediately in encrypted form and cannot be viewed by us.
When you place an order, the payment method you have chosen is saved. The data or bank details that you provide when placing an order are sent directly and in encrypted form to the relevant payment service provider or credit company and are not stored by us. When we receive a payment authorisation or rejection from the payment service provider or credit company, this information is stored with us.

The personal data mentioned is hereinafter referred to as "customer data". The recording of customer data takes place directly in the database on our servers in Germany.
These registered customer data are necessary and used by us for the processing of the order.
By entering your customer data, you have given us permission to use them. You can revoke this consent at any time with future effect. You can access the withdrawal form here: open the withdrawal form. If the revocation takes place within the framework of the processing of an order, this may lead to certain problems in the processing of the order.

Transmission of data to shipping companies
We pass on your address data and your e-mail address to the shipping company within the framework of the execution of the contract. We pass on your data so that you can be informed by e-mail about the progress of the shipment and in order to guarantee the delivery of the ordered goods.
